Become involved in one of CHPA's dynamic committees today! More than one hundred of your colleagues and competitors actively participate in strengthening the corporate housing industry and the association. To sign up for a committee, please complete a volunteer form, contact the CHPA office or email one of the committee chairs directly .

CHPA Committee initiatives support the organization's strategic goals:

  • Brand: CHPA will increase the awareness of the corporate housing segment to the lodging industry.
  • Member Value: CHPA will increase the value of membership in the organization and members will understand the benefits of belonging.

  • Education: CHPA members will benefit from quality, valued and easily accessible education and training to help them operate their businesses more efficiently, professionally and profitably.

  • Communication: CHPA will be the leading source of information on corporate housing, both internally and externally.
  • Industry Relations: CHPA will establish strong relationships with related industries and other associations in order to advance its purpose and achieve its vision.
  • Industry Advocate: CHPA will be a resource for members on local, regional and nation issues that have larger implications for the corporate housing industry.

Industry Relations Goal: CHPA will establish strong relationships with related industries and other associations in order to advance its purpose and achieve its vision.

 

Outcomes:

  • Participation in related industry conferences.
  • Link website to related organizations and showcase information about the industry.
  • Expand applications to other organizations for CEU credits.
  • Identify opportunities for involvement in key industry-related organizations.

 

 

Communication Goal: CHPA will be the leading source of information on corporate housing, both internally and externally.

 

Outcomes:

  • Increase usage of the website by members.
  • Increase active usage of discussion board.

 

 

Education Goal: CHPA members will benefit from quality, valued and easily accessible education and training to help them operate their businesses more efficiently, professionally and profitably.

 

Outcomes:

  • 90% of conference respondents to rate the conference as a 3 (good) -5 experience.
  • Establish recertification guidelines.
  • 100 individuals to take the CCHP exam annually.

  • Increase media exposure.

Industry Advocate Goal: CHPA will be a resource for members on local, regional and national issues that have larger implications for the corporate housing industry.

  • Inform members of legislative issues of importance.
  • Be ready to organize and coordinate members around issues when action is needed.

 

Member Value Goal: CHPA will increase the value of membership in the organization and members will understand the benefits of belonging.

  • Tier recognition and towers of excellence awards by company size.
  • Increase member services.
  • Improve retention rate.
